Radiohead Assesment
The First Project of the year for me at WAAPA, we had to use the drum beat from a Radiohead song and create a composition between 3 and 12 minutes long.
You can read more about this piece on my blog.
02
Vacillating
This was the second assessment of the year for me, it was sounds on a timeline, and the general idea was to have individual sounds played at random points across a time line.
You can read more about this piece on my blog.
03 (WIP)
Piece for Concert Band
This Project is yet to be named and has been in the works since 2021 after messing around on my piano and liking the idea I had, I continued working on it and hopefully will have it complete soon.
04 (WIP)
Clarinet Sonata
A Sonata for Clarinet and Piano Composed in 2023 is inspired by Saint Saens clarinet sonata in Eb Major.
it opens with a bold Motif in the Piano that is reintroduced throughout the sonata and followed by the main idea for the first movement. the second movement is a slower, more relaxed movement revisiting a few of the themes from the first movement. the final movement is much faster, and more staccato, revisiting a lot of themes from the first two movements.

Waltz No.1
A Waltz I wrote in 2021, is a fun, lively piano piece I wrote while staying in an Airbnb whilst doing a show.
06 (WIP)
Waltz No.2
Another Waltz I wrote, A more slow and mellow approach compared to Waltz No.1 it also features a string quartet but instead of the standard instrumentation, I have a contrabass and no second violin.

Caves
A project unlike what i usually write, 'Caves' is a piece for a synth ensemble that captures the feeling of being inside a cave, looking around and admiring the scenery deep underground.
